Sunshine周覓 logo uchiwa (hand fan/sign)

I made an uchiwa using the Sunshine周覓's logo~! If you would like to make one of your own there is a download link at the bottom of this post. Please feel free to make them for your friends or share the template. The more he sees the Sunshine周覓 logo the more he we will get to know us ^^



Of course yours doesn't need to be so extravagant~



Basic instructions:

When you open the file you'll notice that the whole image doesn't fit on the paper, that's ok! You don't need to trace all the 'rays' of sunshine exactly, I just used one that is on the template and then copied that 8 times to get all the rays ^^

The best paper to use for uchiwas is fluorescent cardboard obviously because when the concert lights shine on it then it glows, just like the sun! The best thing to do is to stick the template FACE DOWN onto the BACK of the coloured cardboard. You will be able to see the outline of the logo through the paper so it's a good idea to trace over that with a pen so it's easier to see when you start cutting.

I used a craft knife (or stanley knife or whatever you call it) to do the cutting. Start with the smallest parts on the inside of the logo and work your way out.
